Had the pleasure of speaking with Michael about a potential pre-nuptial with a few layers that most lawyers dont come across. He was knowledgeable about both subjects inside and outside of his area of expertise (ie. Immigration) and both knowledgeable and thoughtful within the area of family law. Mr. Michael Todd Mueller has taken over my complicated legal separation/divorce case after not so successful outcome achieved by my previous lawyer. I am happy with the results he obtained for me, particularly since it was during the period of covid-imposed lockdowns and courts overflowing with the backlogged cases. The overall timeline from the case submission to its resolution was very reasonable, and the collaboration - professional and effective. I needed a lawyer to represent me in a domestic violence case which I felt was fairly complicated. I was seeking a protection order against my abuser, but I felt I didn't have enough evidence to successfully argue my case in court on my own. Mr. Mueller helped me review the case, compile my evidence and successfully presented it in court; the judge ordered the protection order based on the presented facts. I know Michael had my best interests at heart. He was always realistic. He always explained my options so that I could make my own decisions. When I first met with Michael I just wanted to get a settlement over and done with. The initial settlement would have been to my husband's benefit. When Michael fully understood my husband's and my situation, he did tell me I was leaving a lot of money on the table and that the laws were in my favor, but in the end it was my decision. I decided to go after what I was entitled to, because I felt Michael had my back. Our relationship felt like a true collaboration and I could not have gone all the way to the end without him. Michael won't waste your time or your money. You might have to chase after him every now and then, but I have no regrets about hiring him to handle my divorce and I am happy with the outcome.

Michael is a good lawyer. I have made a very good decision by hiring him. He always answers me promptly. He gives you personal attention. He is honest and efficient: he doesn't do the sales pitch nor he does sugarcoat of what he can do for you. He just do it! And do it very well! In my first with meeting Michael, there is a level of comfort and understanding. During such a difficult time, I felt frazzled and anxious. I am an artist and had the benefit of having Michael in my life. He was reffered by a friend and he helped me negotiate a contract with a large gallery that would have normally ate me for breakfast. I am an artist not a negotiator or someone that understands the dynamics of contracts. Michael Todd Mueller is an attorney with moral ethics unrivaled by others in the industry. I trust Michael without exception. As far as being responsive, I am able to get Michael on the phone in the middle of the night to offer expert legal advice. He even goes to the extent of reviewing case law on his off time. Mueller failed to finish filing my divorce and did not communicate this to me. In fact, he refused to communicate with me at all. He did not answer emails, texts, or phone calls. Five to six months after I should have been divorced, I had to hire a second lawyer to finish the job. Mueller ignored three requests (mine, my second attorney, and the court's) to turn over my file. It took another year for my divorce to be finalized. In addition, I had to "negotiate" reimbursement of my additional legal fees with Mueller. Lastly, I, the injured party, had to sign a waiver before Mueller would consider reimbursing me for the additional legal fees. All in all a costly and very traumatic experience. I do not recommend this attorney.
